3D printing technology is great for making 3D objects for relatively low costs, which makes it ideal for many purposes, such as making prototypes. It is imperative that you select good materials for a smooth printing process. In this way, you can will ensure your desired result. When choosing the right filament for 3D printing, you can choose from different materials. Polyfluor's 3D printer plastic is unparalleled and provides sublime results. It is easy to use and the varieties are diverse. Polyfluor likes to collaborate with you to get the best results. We offer different types of plastic as standard, but we can also offers custom filaments that exactly meet your wishes.
Our range of 3D printer filaments for 3D printing is extensive. Our 3D printing plastic is available in both common materials and high engineering plastics.
Polyfluor offers the following types of 3D printing materials.
Our general filaments are supplied in various colours on reels of 750 grams.
Polylactic acid (PLA) is a biodegradable plastic that is produced from renewable, vegetable, and raw materials (corn starch or sugar cane). This plastic is particularly suitable for use with FDM and FFF 3D printers. PLA is available in all colors with a diameter of 1.75 or 2.85 mm.
Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene (ABS) is both a thermoplastic and a copolymer used for rigid objects. The 3D printing plastic consists of 5% to 30% 1.3-butadiene, 50% styrene and the remainder consists of acrylonitrile. This material is particularly suitable for use with FDM and FFF 3D printers. ABS is available in all colors with a diameter of 1.75 or 2.85 mm.
Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol-modified (PET-G) is the most common thermoplastic within the polyester family. It is particularly suitable for use with FDM and FFF 3D printers. PETG filament is titanium in color. However, other colors are available in larger quantities on request. It is available with a diameter of 1.75 or 2.85 mm.
Polycaprolactone (PCL) is a high-quality, biodegradable plastic made from petrochemical raw materials. This material is particularly suitable for use in FDM and FFF 3D printers. PCL (99% pure) / PCL (100% pure) filament has a very low printing temperature and is still formable after printing from 55 degrees. It is available with a diameter of 1.75 or 2.85 mm.
Polyether Ether Ketone (PEEK) polymers are obtained by stepwise polymerization. PEEK is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic with excellent mechanical and chemical properties that are maintained at high temperatures. It is not for nothing that it is one of the best performing thermoplastics in the world. It is particularly suitable for use with FDM and FFF 3D printers. This material is available with a diameter of 1.75 or 2.85 mm.
ASA filament is natural in color and is available with a diameter of 1.75 or 2.85 mm.
PLLA filament is natural in color and is available with a diameter of 1.75 mm.
The high engineering plastics are supplied on rolls of 500 grams.
