Polyfluor has developed a special, high-pressure hose for a wide range of applications, like oxygen, nitrogen, helium, hydrogen. In addition to the standard products and lengths, we also supply bulk lengths or specific, customer requested hoses. As a result, we have a solution for every application. For high pressure oxygen transports our high pressure hoses with an inner hose of PFA or PTFE are often chosen. Depending on the working pressure and the bore of the hose, reinforcement is done by means of single or double Stainless Steel (AISI 302 or 304) braid.
For high pressure transport of Hydrogen or Helium, we recommend high pressure hoses with an inner hose of ETFE or Zytel. Depending on the working pressure and bore of the hose, supplied with single or double Stainless Steel braid (AISI 302 or 304).
For applications requiring very high pressures, flexibility and high security, often is chosen for Super high pressure hoses. The hoses are primarily intended for high pressure (gas) systems such as air, oxygen, nitrogen, carbon monoxide and other demanding applications.
Type GP (General Purpose) is a smooth high pressure hose which is developed as a high quality industrial hose with high flexibility and high flex life and is usually used in hydraulic applications. Due to the unique properties of PTFE, the hoses have a superior reliability in lower pressure applications.
Type SB Heavy Duty is a smooth high pressure hose which is designed for higher pressure applications in mostly the gas industry. The hoses consist of an inner hose of PTFE, anti-static PTFE, PFA, or ETFE with a single Stainless Steel braid.
The smooth high pressure hoses of type DB Heavy Duty are equal to the hoses in the SB Heavy Duty series, but are additionally equipped with a double Stainless Steel braid.
Type EBH is a thin wall, spiral/convoluted PTFE hose with a single Stainless Steel braid. This construction combines the flexibility and chemical inertness of PTFE with the mechanical strength of stainless steel.
Type ECH is a thick wall, spiral/convoluted PTFE hose with a single Stainless Steel braid. This construction combines the flexibility and chemical inertness of PTFE with the mechanical strength of Stainless Steel. Applied in bulk length/coils or as assembled hose with fitting.
