Type BP
Type BP has a smooth surface. The base material is a glass fibre impregnated with PTFE. This type of PTFE glass fibre is used in many applications.
Glass fibre belts and tapes from Polyfluor can be used in applications under the most extreme conditions. Due to the heat resistance, firmness and the very low water absorption, the glass fabric tape stays extremely strong under severe conditions. It offers, for example, excellent resistance to wear, tear and high loads. For this reason the glass cloth belts and the glass cloth tapes from Polyfluor are used in very diverse applications. Polyfluor has a wide range of glass fibre belts and tapes. With this broad variety of products we can offer a custom made solution for many applications. This way you can be sure that you can always rely on Polyfluor solutions.
Type BP has a smooth surface. The base material is a glass fibre impregnated with PTFE. This type of PTFE glass fibre is used in many applications.
Type BP stic is similar to our type BP, but designed with a self-adhesive silicone layer on one side. This adhesive layer is covered with a release liner. The base material is a glass fibre impregnated with PTFE.
By adding an antistaticum to the PTFE, the tape becomes anti-static (type BF). Anti-static PTFE glass fibre is used in many applications. For example in industrial processes where products should not stick by a static charge. An important application is the clothing and textile industry.
Similar to type BF, we also deliver a stic design with a silicone adhesion on one side covered with a release liner (our BF stic). The base material is a glass fibre impregnated with anti-static PTFE. The standard silicone adhesive is resistant up to a maximum temperature of +250°C.
Type BT is available with a closed surface, but also with porous or open mesh structure (mesh belt). The base glass fibre has a slightly different structure than type BP, and is also impregnated with PTFE.
Type BS has a closed smooth surface with, on one side, a self-adhesive silicone layer covered with a release liner. The base glass fibre material has a slightly different structure than type BP, and is also impregnated with PTFE.
Type B-sil has a smooth surface. The base material is glass fibre impregnated with silicone. Silicone glass fibre is used in many applications. For example in industrial processes in which non-stick properties are important and the fabric must be flexible.
Conveyors with an open or closed structure are often used because of their excellent properties, which results in production efficiency and cost saving.
Zone tape is available in two versions, ZPTA and ZPTB, for example for your L-bar sealing and packaging. In both designs, both sides of the tape are provided with a glue layer, for a maximum heat transfer in the middle of the tape.
Type SPF is a virgin PTFE skived foil with a very smooth surface with a self-adhesive silicone adhesive layer on one side covered with a release liner. This tape is widely used and due to the stretch feature especially suitable for coating of sharp bends, foir which PTFE fiberglass is not suitable.
Type BW has a very smooth surface. The base material is a glass fibre impregnated with a high percentage of PTFE which is often used in the PVC welding industry. The very smooth surface, the high percentage of PTFE, the excellent anti-stick properties and good temperature resistance (up to +260 ° C), add up to a production time and cost saving solution.
Type BW stic has a very smooth surface with a self-adhesive silicone adhesive on one side covered with a release liner. The base material is a glass fibre impregnated with a high percentage of PTFE.
UHMPE tape (Ultra High Molecular PE) has a smooth surface with adhesive glue at one side. This type has a temperature resistance up to +52°C and is therefore more suitable for cooler environmental factors.
ePTFE forms a thin, yet strong, reliable gasket (under compression) that is highly resistant to aggressive media. The sealing tape is soft and flexible. Due to the expanded fiber structure of the ePTFE, cold flow will reduce significantly. This results in an excellent sealing material.
Glass fibre is used in various industries. Just think of the electronics industry, aviation and aerospace, the automotive industry and the pharmaceutical and medical industry. Polyfluor supplies specific industry solutions.
